Biography
They came out of late seventies Sydney Australia. An art school band determined to avoid art rock. At inner Sydney pubs and student parties they played 60s pop, blues country and increasingly their own often quirky effervescent but unpretentious songs about life as they knew it.
They were asked to record the first release for the independent Regular Records – Mental As Anything Plays At Your Party. The pressing of 1300 vinyl extended play records sold out in ten days.
From this release “The Nips Are Getting Bigger” went on to become an Australia wide hit and launched a successful recording career that saw the band release on average a single every four months for twelve years.
